The communication that António Costa made this afternoon, after meeting the Council of Ministers, with the new measures in force with the renewal of the state of emergency, also made known the new list of municipalities according to the level of risk of contagion.
The main change in the region of Leiria (district of Leiria and municipality of Ourém) is the “rise” of the municipality of Ansião towards the group of municipalities at very high risk, the second highest of all, ie a value included between 480,959.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
In the state of emergency still in force until next Tuesday, the 8th, Ansião was one of the seven municipalities in the region to present a high risk (240 to 479.9 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
In the opposite direction, five municipalities in the region have seen their risk levels decrease: Ourém and Pombal go from very high to high risk, while Batalha and Porto de Mós go from high to moderate. The “best” recovery takes place in Nazaré, according to the date assessed by the government, with the descent of the group of municipalities at very high risk to the set of municipalities at moderate risk.
The other 11 municipalities in the Leiria region maintain the level of risk assigned in the current period of state of emergency and must therefore continue to follow the measures previously disclosed by the government.
