It is through a video that the president of the Municipal Assembly of Ourém (AMO), João Moura, challenged the students of the municipality to present an awareness campaign on a social theme.
The message was sent within the framework of the Youth Assembly of Ourém (LAO) which this year, due to the pandemic, did not count on the visit of the person in charge in the schools.
Thus, students are invited to develop campaigns in the field of social welfare, which can use means of communication such as video, photography, billboards, brochures, newspaper advertisements, dramatic expression or street actions.
Applications must be submitted before April 30, 2021 (see the calendar at the end of the text).

Teams participate in stages – 1st stage from 5th to 9th and 2nd stage from 10th to 12th – and the two winning teams will receive tickets to the NOS Alive festival and will be able to see their campaigns completed.
Despite the restrictions, João Moura considers it necessary that “students continue to feel that they are part of a better and more democratic society, so it is crucial to continue to develop the skills and attitudes of a citizenship active ”.
The president of the AMO considers that this is an “excellent opportunity” to benefit from the creativity of young people and the mastery of communication tools “and to use them for the good of all”.
