The association of volunteers offers books to those who visit Óbidos – Region of Leiria


The Volunteers of the Silver Coast (SCV) will offer to Óbidos, between the 21st and the 31st of this month, 300 books written in English given to this association.

The initiative, called “Sharing Happy Endings” (“Sharing Happy Endings”) aims to “give a happy ending to around 300 books that currently have no owner, offering them as Christmas gifts to people who visit Óbidos” , said association in a statement.

The books will be available at the city’s “transit sites”

The selection of works includes several literary genres, from the novel to the police, from the historical book to the autobiography, from technical books to children’s stories, which were packed by the volunteers of the association and which will be placed “in places. of passage, so that anyone who finds them can take them away ”, we can read in the press release.
