Bombarral recorded two more deaths, bringing the total number of deaths in the county associated with Covid-19 to three. According to the municipality, two elderly people hospitalized at Centro Hospitalar do Oeste have died. The third death was reported in Caldas da Rainha, where 11 people have already been infected with the new coronavirus.
Since the start of the pandemic, 166 patients who tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
Leiria again recorded the highest number of new cases (52), followed by Caldas da Rainha (39), Ourém (18), Alcobaça (16), Porto de Mós (14), Marinha Grande (12), Pombal ( 8), Batalha and Peniche (5 each) and Bombarral (1).
A total of 170 new infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours, and the region (Leiria district and Ourém municipality) has already accumulated 7,760 cases since March.

Among these patients, they have recovered 5,916, including 115 since yesterday. Ourém reported 29 recoveries, Leiria 28, Caldas da Rainha 23, Alcobaça 16, Marinha Grande 5, Bombarral 4, Pombal 3, Porto de Mós 2 and Óbidos 1.
